Consume the exact reseller pricing export without inventing unsupported terms

domain-nexus, development

The pricing export returns JSON for the current reseller's effective domain offers. Select the profile that matches your integration, and retain exact supported terms instead of deriving a full price matrix from one minimum price.

01 Choose the export profile

Method Resource Scope Idempotency-Key
GET /v2/pricing/export pricing:read Not required by this route
  • profile=whmcs supplies the complete offered-term installation catalogue used by the WHMCS connector.
  • profile=complete supplies paginated full-term data for a custom integration, with an active-TLD page size capped at 50.
  • An omitted profile uses the compact projection. Use a fuller profile when exact term coverage matters.

02 Import prices deliberately

  1. Request format=json and the chosen profile using pricing-read access.
  2. For the complete profile, follow the returned pagination metadata. The default and WHMCS profiles return their active catalogue in one server-driven response instead.
  3. Retain the returned currency, operation and term data. This endpoint does not select an arbitrary caller-supplied currency.
  4. Preview local price changes, including disabled or absent terms, before applying your retail markup.
  5. Apply the reviewed local changes and compare a sample of registration, renewal and transfer choices with the upstream offer.

Can I ask for a CSV download?

This route currently supports JSON, not a streamed CSV export. Convert the returned JSON into a spreadsheet or local format in your own application while preserving the source fields and fetch time. Do not treat a format error as an empty catalogue and disable every local suffix.

Does importing a catalogue change existing customer invoices?

The API export only supplies pricing data. What your billing platform changes depends on its import workflow. Review that platform's behaviour separately and keep existing invoices or contract prices distinct from the new-sale catalogue.

If the export is incomplete or unavailable, keep the last verified local prices and flag the synchronisation failure. Replacing prices from a partial response can sell unsupported terms or remove valid offers. For an individual live order, use the quote workflow when account-specific options or promotions affect its payable amount.
