Understanding hosting uptime, support and service-credit reviews

web-hosting, performance

We advertise a 99.9% uptime guarantee and 24/7 support for these hosting products. The uptime commitment concerns the hosting service as defined in the applicable terms. It should not be interpreted as a promise that every website function, external service or third-party application can never fail. Section 6 of our published Terms of Service explains the uptime coverage, exclusions and service-credit conditions.

01 Get help for the affected service

Support is useful both when something stops working and when you need clarification about an account feature. For technical assistance, identify the affected service and website, explain the symptom and include when it began. A useful report distinguishes a complete outage from a failure in one function, such as a contact form, checkout or administrator login. This helps us investigate the correct layer of the problem.

The AI Engineers provide another way to inspect issues and perform supported work inside the relevant workspace. They can help gather evidence and test a proposed repair, but they do not replace our team when a problem concerns the hosting platform, account access, billing or an operation outside the available tools. If the workspace is unavailable, use the support route instead of waiting for the Engineer to become accessible.

02 Understand support and service-credit assessment

Keep expectations specific. Being able to contact support at any time does not establish a guaranteed resolution time for every case or an unlimited custom-development contract. Complex issues can depend on application authors, external providers or information we need from you.

Save the error message, affected address and relevant time information before making repeated changes. If you believe an outage falls within the uptime guarantee, request a service-credit review through a support ticket within 14 days of the incident, as required by the published terms. Include the affected service, incident times and your existing support reference. Check the current terms when submitting the request. Our team can assess the actual service history and the appropriate next step.

What evidence helps us review an availability problem?

  1. Record the failing URL, the exact error and the start time with timezone.
  2. Check whether several networks see the same problem and whether the service itself or one application function is affected.
  3. Open a support ticket for platform access or wider availability problems, and retain the reference if requesting a service-level review.

A working homepage does not establish that checkout or outgoing mail works. Equally, a failed third-party payment API does not prove the hosting service was unavailable. Keep these observations separate so the support investigation and any service-credit assessment use the correct evidence.
