Use password recovery when you cannot sign in to your Plesk account. Recovery depends on the email and authentication method configured for that account, so a failed reset does not justify guessing passwords repeatedly or sharing another customer login.

Prepare for the change
Locate the verified Plesk login URL and the account username or registered contact email. Make sure you can securely access that email account. Provider-managed and external single-sign-on accounts may require a different recovery route.
01 Reset a forgotten Plesk password
- Open the verified HTTPS Plesk login page and select the forgotten-password or password-reset link if available.
- Enter the account information requested by the form and submit one reset request. An intentionally generic response may be used to avoid revealing whether a username exists.
- Check the registered mailbox and spam folder. Use the most recent legitimate reset message, and inspect the destination hostname before following the link.
- Choose a unique strong password in the reset form and save it securely. Reset links can expire or become invalid after use, so complete the process promptly.
- Sign in through the normal verified login address. Review the profile contact email and any recent changes once access is restored.
How do I verify the password reset succeeded?
Confirm that the new password works for the expected Plesk account. Update your password manager and review who should retain access. Do not send the reset token or new password in a support ticket.
If the change does not work
If no message arrives, confirm that you are requesting recovery for the correct account and allow time for delivery before making another request. If the reset feature is disabled, the email is inaccessible or single sign-on is used, contact us through the authorized account-recovery process. Do not replace website database passwords or delete a subscription in an attempt to restore panel access.
