Logging in to Plesk securely

Use Plesk to manage the websites and services included in a Plesk hosting subscription. The Plesk account is distinct from the Nabtech client-area account, and its password is not automatically the same as an FTP, database or mailbox password.

What you need before you begin

Find the verified panel URL and username supplied with your service. The standard secure Plesk port is 8443, although a provider may configure a branded HTTPS address without an explicit port. Use the supplied address rather than guessing a server IP.

01 Log in to Plesk securely

  1. Open the verified HTTPS login URL in your browser, for example https://panel.example.com:8443.
  2. Check the address and certificate before entering credentials. If the certificate does not match, verify the correct hostname with support instead of accepting an unexplained warning.
  3. Enter the Plesk username and password. Complete any configured second authentication step or approved external identity-provider login.
  4. After signing in, confirm that the expected subscription appears. If several subscriptions belong to your account, select the one you intend to manage.
  5. Bookmark the plain login address and log out when finished on a shared device. Do not save or distribute a URL containing a session token.

How do I confirm a secure Plesk login?

Open Websites & Domains and verify the expected domain names. Missing server-administration tools can be normal for a customer role; a customer subscription does not grant server root or Windows Administrator access.

Troubleshoot unexpected results

For a timeout, check the exact URL, network access and service status. For rejected credentials, stop repeated guesses and use password recovery. If the domain was recently moved, use the supplied panel hostname while DNS caches update. Contact support with the error and approximate time, without sending your password.
