Updating the email address used by your SolusVM account

The SolusVM account email can be a login identifier and a destination for recovery or server notifications. Keep it attached to a mailbox you control, and distinguish it from your Nabtech billing contact and mailboxes hosted inside a VPS.

Prepare for the change

Confirm access to both the old and new mailbox while making the change. Decide whether you are updating a personal login or transferring service ownership; a contact-address change alone is not a complete ownership-transfer process.

01 Update the email address used by your SolusVM account

  1. Sign in through the trusted panel and open the account or profile menu. Review the email field and the identity currently logged in.
  2. If your installed version allows self-service email editing, enter the new address carefully and save. Complete any confirmation sent to the old or new address.
  3. On a current installation where the email is managed by the administrator, request the change through your verified your client account. Supply the intended address and VPS/account reference without passwords.
  4. If an older SolusVM 1 panel exposes My Account > Account Settings, its email field applies to that legacy account; it should not be assumed to update a separate billing system.
  5. After the change is confirmed, check whether the new address is now required for panel login and update your password-manager entry.

How do I confirm the account email was updated?

Use a new login session to verify access and confirm a relevant notification can reach the new mailbox. Separately review the Nabtech account contact details if those also need updating.

If the change does not work

If the new mailbox is inaccessible or a confirmation is missing, stop before removing the old recovery route. Check spam filtering and ask support to verify the account record. Never create a duplicate SolusVM account to move an existing server without an approved ownership workflow.
