The Gmail app can manage an ordinary hosting mailbox as an IMAP account. The address stays hosted on your Nabtech mail service; using this app does not turn it into a Google Workspace subscription. Obtain the correct secure server settings before starting.

Check access and requirements
Confirm that the mailbox already exists and that its password works in webmail. Have its incoming and outgoing hostnames, secure ports and authentication settings ready before opening account setup.
01 Add a Nabtech IMAP mailbox to Gmail on Android
- Open Gmail, tap your profile picture and choose Add another account > Other. Enter the full business email address.
- Select Personal (IMAP) and enter the mailbox password. For an account hosted by Google or another listed provider, use that provider's sign-in flow instead.
- Enter the incoming hostname and secure IMAP settings from your hosting mailbox connection page. Confirm the username is the complete email address.
- Enter the outgoing SMTP hostname, secure port and authentication details. Finish the account options and display name, then select the new Inbox.
Test sending and receiving
Send a small message to another account and receive its reply. Confirm the Sent folder and any moved messages agree with webmail. Use the correct business From address when the phone has multiple accounts.
Resolve setup problems
If the app reports an invalid certificate, verify the exact mail hostname and device time and contact support if needed. Keep encryption enabled. If webmail sign-in also fails, resolve the mailbox credentials before repeating app setup.
A common question
Should I use POP instead of IMAP?
IMAP is normally more suitable when several devices need the same folders. POP can create local-only copies and separate deletion behavior, so choose it only with a deliberate storage and backup plan.
