Where did Webalizer go after an InterWorx upgrade?

Webalizer was removed from InterWorx 8, so older instructions that point to a Webalizer menu do not apply to current installations. Use the available SiteWorx statistics tools and preserve any historical exports needed for long-term comparison.

Gather the details you will need

Check the panel version and available Statistics menu. Before a planned upgrade, download important historical reports or logs according to your retention needs. A replacement statistics program does not necessarily import every old report or use identical counting rules.

01 Check the available website statistics tools

  1. Open SiteWorx Statistics and use AWStats where enabled for historical request analysis.
  2. For current traffic, review the available realtime or bandwidth reports. For individual requests, use Administration > Recent Visitors or the web-server log viewer.
  3. Compare equivalent domains, dates and metrics when replacing an old Webalizer report. Do not compare a hit count directly with unique visitors from another tool.
  4. If your reporting process needs older Webalizer output, locate a retained backup or export and store it outside the live website’s public folders.
  5. Update internal instructions and reporting bookmarks to the supported tools rather than trying to reinstall an obsolete component on a shared service.

Confirm the expected result

Confirm the replacement report’s domain, time range and update time. Record any change in metric definitions so apparent traffic changes are not mistaken for a real business trend.

Can another statistics tool reconstruct missing historical reports?

If no statistics tools appear, ask whether they are enabled for the server. For a missing historical period, check retained access logs and backups. Do not promise that upgrading or enabling AWStats will reconstruct data that has already been deleted.
