SiteWorx can store a preferred interface language for each panel user. This changes management labels and messages where translations exist; it does not translate your website, mailbox content or public domain names.

01 Prepare for the change
Identify the intended user and choose a language you can recognise in the available list. Keep note of the Administration and User Accounts path before switching so you can reverse the setting if needed.
02 Change the display language for a SiteWorx user
- Open Administration > User Accounts in SiteWorx and locate your authorised user record.
- Use its edit or pencil action where permitted, then find the Language selector. Choose the desired supported language.
- Leave login email, password, permissions and domain restrictions unchanged. Save the preference.
- Reload the interface or sign in again if the current session continues to display cached labels. Check several pages because not every component may have the same translation coverage.
- If you manage multiple users, change each person’s preference intentionally rather than assuming one change applies to the whole hosting account.
03 Confirm the expected result
Panel navigation should display the selected translation where available. Open the public website separately to confirm its application language has not been changed by this preference.
04 Example: change language without changing account access
A colleague needs SiteWorx labels in a different language but must keep the same login and permitted domains. Edit the language preference only. Before saving, compare the remaining fields with their original values so that a browser's password autofill does not unintentionally replace credentials.
Take note of the page location before changing the interface. If the new translation is difficult to navigate, return through the same user-account path and restore the previous language. Another authorised administrator may need to assist if your role cannot edit the user record.
Why are some labels still in English?
A control panel, an installed extension and a linked application may maintain separate translations. Changing the SiteWorx preference does not necessarily alter a third-party tool. An untranslated label does not by itself mean the setting failed.
Will customers see a different website language?
No. Your public website's text and language controls belong to the website application. The same applies to email messages already stored in a mailbox. Contact our team with the panel page and the label that is confusing if you need navigation help. Please keep any screenshot free of passwords, private customer data and recovery codes.
Why is my preferred SiteWorx language unavailable?
If the language is missing, it may not be supplied by that installed panel version. Do not upload unofficial language files into hosting system directories. If your user cannot edit its record, ask the account administrator or support to make the authorised preference change.
