A SiteWorx user’s email address identifies the panel login. Changing it can alter how that person signs in, so treat it as an account-access change rather than merely editing a website contact address.

Prepare for the change
Confirm the new email address is controlled by the intended user and is not already assigned to another SiteWorx user. Keep the existing authenticated session open until a new login succeeds. Billing contacts in Nabtech remain a separate setting.
01 Update a SiteWorx user’s login email address
- Open Administration > User Accounts and locate the intended user, checking its nickname and existing address.
- Choose the pencil or edit action and change the email field to the new complete address. Leave the password, permissions and locked-domain settings unchanged unless you also intend to modify them.
- Save, then update the panel login stored in your password manager. The address does not need to be created as a mailbox on this hosting account merely to act as a login identity.
- Test a fresh SiteWorx login with the new address and the user’s valid password.
- Review other account contact settings separately if you also want billing, service notices or application messages delivered elsewhere.
Confirm the expected result
The updated address should appear on the user record and work in a new session. Confirm the user retains the expected management permissions.
What if the new SiteWorx login email is rejected or I lose access?
If the address is rejected, check spelling and whether another user already uses it. If access is lost, retain the original session and correct the record or use the provider’s recovery process. Updating SiteWorx does not automatically change the Nabtech client-area identity.
